How to install laser326, laser326d

laser326 is a hp laserjet P4015dn printer. It will only accept printing job from our print server, so don't try to install it directly as a networked printer from your computer. Also, it is important that only postscript driver is used for our printer server to function properly.

Linux machines managed by RHPCS should already have laser326 and laser326d installed. If this is not the case, or if there is a problem with the queues, send a mail to sysadmin@physics.mcmsater.ca.

If this is a machine you installed yourself, the steps to setup the queues are:
- Become root
- Set "Browsing Off" in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, restart cupd.
- Run these commands:

    lpadmin -p laser326 -E -v lpd://physprt/laser326
    lpadmin -p laser326d -E -v lpd://physprt/laser326d
