Overview of LimeSurvey Central Instance
The Office of the Vice President, Research offers our research community free access to the survey service, LimeSurvey, 'Central Instance' - a tool that allows survey data to be collected and stored locally (on-campus). The Central Instance offers research ethics complaint survey structure templates and a McMaster-branded survey theme. The Central LimeSurvey Instance can also be used for non-research purposes.
This Central Instance is a data collection service and is not intended to be a permanent archive or data storage service. It is not the ideal service if you are planning data collection without an endpoint in sight. If you plan on collecting data indefinitely, we recommend pursuing other options.
This LimeSurvey Central Instance has received a privacy impact assessment from the Privacy Officer for McMaster University.
General Information
NOTE: The following only relates to the VPR-supported LimeSurvey instance provided by RHPCS. It does not reflect the compatibility and compliance of other McMaster-run LimeSurvey instances (e.g. CSU, Engineering, Library, Science, etc.). Please see McMaster LimeSurvey Instances for a comparison of the VPR-supported and the Faculty of Science-supported instances.
