Survey Themes

When your account is created on the 'Central' LimeSurvey system, you are automatically granted access to a McMaster survey theme.

McMaster theme

The "McMaster" theme is set up with the University branding colours and logo throughout, as well as a custom plain-text message when users exit the survey after clicking the "Exit and clear survey" link. The message reads "Thank you. You have decided to quit this survey. None of your survey responses have been collected or stored."

Exit and clear survey & Resume later

By default, Limesurvey adds an "Exit and clear survey" link at the top right corner of every survey. This link will appear in all the screens when participants are taking the survey. Clicking on it will terminate the questionnaire and clean all the data that they have entered until that moment.

If you need to include additional information for participants that click "Exit and clear survey" (for example, to add a link to a compensation, draw or feedback form/survey) you can add the extra text and links in the field "Privacy policy message", under "Privacy Policy". The text will automatically appear bellow "Thank you. You have decided...". This only works for surveys using the McMaster theme.
